Make the most of the Fly & Cruise package to select your nearest airport and land directly in Las Palmas or Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the heart of the world's most fascinating volcanic archipelago! This is where, from December 2025 to April 2026, Costa Fortuna awaits you. Throughout the cruise, you can truly get to know every port of call thanks to longer port stops, designed for you to experience a different island every day, from morning to night.

Here are our tips to help you make the most of your holiday in the Canary Islands! In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, you can ride a cable car up to the highest mountain in Spain and admire stunning views of the Las Cañadas crater in the Teide National Park. If heights are not your thing, you can instead channel your inner Professor Lidenbrock in “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” as you walk through a lava tunnel, carved thousands of years ago by a river of magma. Children are sure to have hours of fun at Siam Park, Europe’s largest water park, or seeing all the animals at the island’s Loro Parque zoo.
You won’t want to miss the chance to explore the “out-of-this-world” landscapes of Lanzarote, the island of volcanoes. Here, you will have the opportunity to hike across an expanse of solidified lava as you admire all the shades of the Montaña Colorada mountain. Or, why not discover the flavours and traditions of the island by visiting its salt pans and vineyards? If you're looking for a truly unique adventure, you can board a submarine and dive into Lanzarote’s crystal-clear waters. You can also opt to travel by boat to a true natural paradise: the island of La Graciosa, where you can take in the “slow life” of a place without roads and cars, where the only sound is that of the sea crashing against the rocks.

As you reach the unparalleled island of Gran Canaria, also known as the “miniature continent”, you will encounter a truly unique microclimate. Its capital city, Las Palmas, is home to lush forests, rocky cliffs, hidden paths, ancient settlements and sacred sites, which you can explore in the company of an expert guide. Maspalomas, a town on the southern coast of the island, hosts three different ecosystems that you can admire all in one go: the palm grove, or “palmeral”, the lagoon, or “charca”, and finally the dunes, constantly carved and reshaped by the wind. If you want to visit the island in a more original way, you can choose to ride a horse or a Tuk Tuk. The former will take you off the beaten tourist track to discover the island’s volcanic region, while the latter will introduce you to the most fascinating corners of Vegueta, the old town.
As for Santa Cruz de la Palma, suffice it to say that it is nicknamed “la isla bonita”, the beautiful island. It is the most urban of the islands, perfect for a stroll through the historic centre, but it also offers well-equipped beaches and the chance to practise all kinds of sports.
