Ibiza
On the hunt for iconic locations by Jeep
The most exciting way to explore Ibiza is in a Jeep 4x4, especially when driven by local experts. It is the ideal way to visit the island and its unmissable beaches, from Sa Caleta, an ancient Phoenician port, to the picturesque village of San José. On the way, be sure to drop by Cala Jondal beach, famous for the lively atmosphere of its beach clubs, and visit the iconic islet of Es Vedrà. Shrouded in legends and mysteries, this place is a true natural paradise, home to a wide variety of rare local species.
And, after all your touring in Ibiza, if you're ready for a “siesta” in a charming location, just wait until you get to Cala Compte beach... with waters that rival the Caribbean!
Athens
Sailing Athens to where the seas part...
Did you know that before the creation of the Corinth Canal, ships were forced to travel 700 kilometres all the way around the Peloponnese peninsula? Today, we can depart from Athens and travel through a 23-metre-wide rock gorge (surrounded by vertical walls reaching up to 90 metres high!) that separates the Ionian Sea from the Aegean Sea. As you navigate through this canal, accompanied by a local guide, you can discover all the stories surrounding this feat of construction through the centuries: from the Oracle of Delphi, who advised Zeus against separating the two seas, to Jason and the Argonauts, who set off from here in search of the “Golden Fleece”, through to tales of Emperor Nero, who is said to have attempted to start construction of the canal himself in 67 AD.
